AUG only collects the personal information necessary to contact our members and charge the membership fee.
Depending on how the membership fee is paid, AUG has varying personal data from our members. The membership fee can be paid in three different ways:
- Online payment service (Stripe): AUG registers your name, address, and e-mail.
- Giro card (NETS): AUG registers your name, address, e-mail, and telephone number.
- Payment Service (NETS): AUG registers your name, address, e-mail, and telephone number.
Our members’ personal data is not shared with others, nor is it passed on to marketing companies. AUG uses NETS and Stripe to handle membership fees. NETS and Stripe are AUG’s data processors and process personal data exclusively for the above-stated purposes and as instructed by AUG.
Members can always leave the organization, after which all personal data is permanently deleted. Members can always be informed about what information is stored and have the right to delete desired information. However, the deletion of personal data (such as e-mail and name) may result in the withdrawal from the organization as the data is needed to maintain contact with the organization’s members and charge membership fees.
AUG also uses the Foreningsadministrator service to handle contact information and information about registration and withdrawal in connection with the administration of and contact with members of the association. Foreningsadministrator, like NETS and Stripe, is AUG’s data processor and processes personal data exclusively on behalf of and as instructed by AUG.
By joining AUG, you consent to AUG sending you e-mails with news about the organization. For members who choose to create a profile, it applies that upon registration, consent is given to AUG to store the information about the member in question. When a member deletes their profile, all information about the member is deleted.
To develop and improve our website and measure traffic, AUG automatically collects anonymized statistical information about our website’s use. AUG uses Google Analytics for web statistics. Google Analytics provides us with anonymous statistical information about the users of the website. Google Analytics processes IP addresses and information from cookies to inform us about the number of website visits, the number of users, which browsers are used to visit the website, and what country, city, or region the user is located.
It is possible to reject or delete cookies. See instructions here.
