Ukraine’s hard-pressed economy must be strengthened from within, so while the war continues to rage, the provincial town of Voznesensk will improve conditions for local entrepreneurs and business innovators. Drawing inspiration from business incubators and entrepreneurship hubs in countries such as Denmark and Croatia, the municipal council has asked us to prepare a preliminary proposal for an business incubator on a vacant municipal building lot.
The project is part of Architects Without Borders’ “Build Back Green Ukraine” portfolio, as we also in this project are striving to develop a low-emission building.
Development goals
- Support economic development, local employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities in Voznesensk.
- To develop, in collaboration with local stakeholders, a vision for modern, sustainable construction.
Project Updates:
July 2026: A team from Architects Without Borders and Engineers Without Borders visited Voznesensk, interviewed municipal officials and potential users, and conducted preliminary studies to be used in the next phase of the project.
