On this Evening Without Borders, we give the floor to six new graduates from the schools of architecture in Copenhagen and Aarhus, who have in common that their graduation projects have a solidarity-based aim. And we invite you to debate the role of solidarity architecture from a fresh perspective.
In collaboration with CAFX and the theme Slow Down, we ask how we can slow down the pace of architecture to harness its potential for solidarity. And we’re letting newly graduated architects show how to trade fast solutions for patient, considered and empathetic approaches – and how time, proximity and care can reshape design.
The event takes place on October 13 from 17.30 – 20 at Copenhagen Architecture Forum CAFx, Halmtorvet 27, Copenhagen, Denmark.
The event is free, but requires registration via the CAFx website.
Evening Without Borders is our recurring event where we look at what is happening in the corners of the solidarity branch of the architectural profession. The aim is to broaden the perception of the architectural profession and show examples of its concrete application in relation to solidarity and human development.
