Architects Without Borders (AUG) and Danish Landscape Architects (DL) have just signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen the work of both organizations and ensure that their efforts create the greatest possible value. This applies in particular to volunteer work, which is the foundation of both organizations’ activities.

Although DL and AUG have different strengths, we share the ambition of a closer collaboration that can expand the scope of both associations. From AUG’s side, we look forward to providing opportunities for landscape architects to apply their competencies to a greater extent in an NGO framework.
Martin Hedevang Andersen, Chairman of Danish Landscape Architects: “Danish Landscape Architects is committed to finding solutions to the three global crises – climate, biodiversity and inequality. Therefore, we have partnered with Architects Without Borders to support this vision. The partnership will strengthen our efforts to create a more sustainable and equitable landscape architecture.”
Cora Aspen, Chairperson of Architects Without Borders, adds: “Many landscape architects volunteer with Architects Without Borders and we see an increasing demand for their expertise in our projects. Therefore, it is essential for us to support the work of landscape architects in the same way they support us.”
With this agreement, we look forward to expanding our collaboration, strengthening our network and creating even more meaningful projects.
